Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a Senior/Software Engineer in Singapore to join the Unmanned & Integrated Systems team. The role focuses on software engineering for maritime robotics and autonomy solutions, with on-site work at Ang Mo Kio.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing, implementing, and testing software in C++, and contributing to validation, documentation, and SDLC processes. Collaboration across cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Computer Science or Engineering principles.
• Preferably 2 years of software development experience.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, control, and signal processing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Write well-designed, testable code in C++.
• Develop and implement software testing and validation plans for quality.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines.
• Preferably 2 years’ experience in software development or relevant fields, preferably in C++.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, control, and signal processing is an advantage.
• General knowledge of robotics: mobile platforms, manipulators, autonomous vehicles, sensors, actuators, automation.
• Good knowledge of network communication protocols
• Familiar with Git and software version control
• Ability to document requirements and specifications.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Singaporean only
