Job description

We are looking for Senior Software Consultant experience in Finance Crypto and Blockchain. We are hiring Senior Consultant (Solution Architect level) to lead the design of a crypto-enabled technology stack and system modernization. The client operates at enterprise scale, works with regulated financial institutions, and is investing heavily in blockchain-based payment rails.

Roles & Responsibilities

• This role sits at the intersection of traditional payments, web applications, distributed ledger technology, digital platform, and secure enterprise architecture.
• Execute the development of Blockchain-powered applications by taking requirements and turning them into architected solutions. This includes selecting the right development platform and determining which functionality to include in each development sprint.
• For successful prototypes, develop MVP requirements with domain experts; collaborate with Blockchain specialists, engineers and solution development leadership and shepherd the development.
• Many offerings, solutions or enablement tools based on Blockchain technologies and paradigms will require modifications to existing or net new, business models to monetize the value provided. The incumbent in this position will support the design and implementation of appropriate new models.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience in IT industry, Designing, Blockchain Solution Architect & Crypto solutions and Digital Platform.
• 5+ years’ experience in a software development or systems architecture role.
• Experience in multiple different programming languages and technology architectures.
• Experience with open-source development (i.e. the Linux operating system/ Apache Web server application).
• Basic understanding of the fundamentals of encryption.Experience with software architecture design and development.
• Hands-on exposure to crypto, blockchain, DLT, or digital asset platforms.
• Strong understanding of payment rails, settlement, clearing, AML, KYC, and security models.
• Experience designing high-availability, high-throughput systems.
• Cloud architecture experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven experience as a Solution or Enterprise Architect in payments or financial services.
