Role Summary

The role is accountable for the strategic direction of our social content for a major Global Account, predominantly in motion and video and with a focus on executing social content at scale.

You are a social content expert, fluent in best-practice and with the credibility to represent this knowledge in a client facing role. You are the eyes and ears of what is happening across the social platforms, identifying upon quick glance what works and what doesn’t on social.

Responsible for the delivery of best-in-class & platform ready content, this role will be in charge of injecting strategic thinking, insights and trends into our Creative and Production Team’s and Processes. You’ll be responsible for the operational excellence of our social content product, leading and consulting our team’s and client’s to create better creative work. You will work hand in hand with our Video Editors and AI Team and will ‘close-the-loop’ with our content, keeping our creative accountable, ensuring that we optimising and iterating based on performance data and other valuable metrics.

You are comfortable liaising with a range of stakeholders across the social process – including Global counterparts, Media agencies and the Platform’s direct.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Social Product
  • Responsible for playing the strategic role across our social service for a major Global account. You will be the SME, very rehearsed in Social production, influencer/UGC best practices– and provide clear pros and cons for transparent client and team discussions and decision making.
  • Collaborate and share always-on insights and learnings to help strengthen wider Production Teams and processes to reflect social best practice.
  • Scale the recent successes with a case studies on clear content streams, and provide a constant stream of eg 24h reactive content/ lo-fi talent reels/everyday hacks and add other likely options in need (e.g. BTS), so our team’s can learn.
Process
  • Build and safeguard the social proposition and foster trust/creative freedom and approval fluidity to ensure maximum impact and best platform performance.
  • Develop clear step-by-step process for each content type, so both clients and internal staff know how to best create for social and how to get the best possible output – without defaulting to the traditional way.
  • Introduce clear scopes aligned to the process for production of social and ensure that we are consistently optimising at the speed of the feed.
People
  • Identify, train and mentor new creator talent to drive scalability in line with client requirements (category/platform priorities etc)
  • Work with producers to Introduce clear guidelines for shoots to ensure quality is consistent and always maintained with clear brand consistency throughout
Ideal Skills and Experience
  • Strong understanding of social content strategy, including platform-specific best practices (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  • Familiarity with modular production, virtual production, and AI-driven content creation.
  • Ability to safeguard creative freedom while maintaining brand consistency and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop unique creator propositions and integrate them into broader service offerings.
  • Experienced in Social media platforms (e.g., Meta Blueprint, Google Ads, TikTok for Business).
  • A strong portfolio or case studies showcasing experience in social content strategy and execution.
