ST Engineering is seeking a Tier 3 Senior SOC Analyst who acts as the Deputy SOC Manager to lead Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts. The role focuses on threat hunting, incident analysis, process optimization, and team mentorship to maintain the highest security operations standard for MSSP clients.

You will develop detection use cases, optimize SIEM rules, and coordinate continuous improvements across SOC workflows.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in SOC operations including threat hunting and advanced incident analysis.
• Strong understanding of SIEMs, threat intelligence platforms, and security tools.
• Leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing security teams.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GCIH are highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and critical security incidents effectively.
• Collaborative mindset to work with other SOC tiers and managers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex security challenges.
• Commitment to continuous learning to stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
• Adherence to SOC playbooks, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic 24/7 SOC environment.

Responsabilités

• Act as Deputy SOC Manager and mentor Tier 1/2 analysts.
• Lead threat hunting, incident analysis, and daily updates to SOC leadership.
• Plan certifications for junior analysts and ensure yearly progression.
• Develop and optimize threat detection use cases based on MITRE ATT&CK, threat intel, and trends.
• Create and tune SIEM detection rules and validate effectiveness.
• Manage false positives with Tier 2 to reduce noise for MSSP clients.
• Oversee SOC processes for compliance and operational excellence.
• Test new technologies (e.g., AI) and compare with current SOC tools.
