Job summary

GRANDTECH CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Civil Engineer with on-site experience to manage the execution of construction activities.

You will liaise with consultants, manage shop drawings approval, and plan and monitor progress on site. You will address technical issues on site and ensure safety and compliance with site procedures. The role requires 3–4 years of relevant experience and PE Board registration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/BEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Registered with PE Board preferred.
• Minimum 3–4 years of on-site experience.

Responsibilities

• Report to Project Manager / Site Manager for the arrangement of work.
• Liaise with consultants for submission and approval of materials and shop drawings.
• Plan, program and monitor on-site work progress; coordinate inspection by Resident Engineer and clerk of works.
• Handle technical and engineering problems on site.
• Ensure site safety and proper execution of site work procedures.
• Monitor and coordinate works of subcontractors; oversee structural and architectural work.
