1. Project Supervision & Coordination
- Oversee daily site operations and ensure work progress is on schedule.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Resolve site issues and discrepancies quickly and effectively.
- Attend site meetings and report to the Project Manager.
2. Technical Support
- Review technical drawings (structural, architectural, M&E) and raise RFIs if there are discrepancies.
- Assist in implementing construction methods that comply with safety, quality, and engineering standards.
- Supervise and guide junior engineers and site supervisors.
3. Quality & Safety Compliance
- Ensure site activities comply with QSS (Quality, Safety, and Schedule) standards.
- Carry out inspections and testing (e.g., concrete cube, rebar inspections).
- Work with Safety Officers to enforce WSH (Workplace Safety & Health) regulations.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain site records (site diary, inspection checklists, progress reports).
- Submit and follow up on method statements, risk assessments, and inspection requests.
- Assist with progress claims, variation orders, and material approvals.
5. Liaison & Communication
- Act as a key liaison between consultants, clients, and internal teams.
- Attend coordination meetings and present technical solutions or updates.
Requirement:
- At least 5–10 years of relevant experience in building or infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of local codes and regulations (e.g., BCA, LTA, HDB standards).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and optionally BIM software.
- Familiar with QSS procedures, method statements, and inspection checklists.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
