Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure compliance with local construction codes and quality standards. • Assist project teams to identify quality requirements and develop Project Quality Plans for projects
• Conduct inspection reports for all subcontractors work to ensure alignment with the quality standards
• Assist Project Teams with control vendor performance/non-conformance issues and implement actions to correct non-compliance
• Prepare and submit Request for Inspection (RFI) to consultant prior to official QA/QC inspection and testing activity
• Carry out the execution of the project as per plan
• Register all incoming materials and items for the project
• Responsible for managing day to day lifting operations
• Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing lifting activities
• Conduct routine checks and inspections of works on site to ensure compliance with authorities' and client’s requirements
• Review project safety (e.g. lifting plans, etc.)
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required
