• Prepare and ensure accuracy of all operational documentation.
• Negotiate and resolve post-fixture matters with clients.
• Follow up on documentation, settlements, and claims.

Overview

Hiring Now: Senior Shipping Operations Executive
Location: Telok Ayer

Role: Full-Time Senior Shipping Operations Executive
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Maritime Studies, International Shipping, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.

Work Schedule & Shifts

• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm
• Overtime: Payable at 1.5x / 2.0x rates.

Salary: To be discussed (Commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Days off: 8 days per month (Weekends off)

Job Scope

• Manage all vessel operation matters, including verifying contract/fixture terms and providing instructions to charterers and owners.
• Monitor vessel schedules, supervise loading/discharge operations, and resolve any issues.
• Handle all aspects of insurance (P&I, H&M, War Risk) and claims processing.
• Process hire payments, calculate laytime, and manage invoicing for freight/charter hire.
• Prepare and ensure the accuracy of all operational documentation.
• Negotiate and resolve post-fixture matters with clients and stakeholders.
• Follow up with all parties on documentation, settlements, and claims.

Qualifications

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin to liaise with international clients and stakeholders.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with IMOS, eccdocs, and weather routing software (AWT/WNI) is an advantage.
