Job description

We are looking for Service Engineers (2- Stroke) / Senior Service Engineer (2 Stroke) in Singapore. This is a permanent opportunity and its location is Singapore.

What will you be doing:

• Ensure risk assessment conducted at work and all times complying to local Workplace Health, Safety and Environment regulations
• Independently execute Field Service activities such as overhaul, repair and trouble shooting
• Identify failures, making adjustments, doing trial runs and testing of complete installations according to instructions
• Check and adjust relevant auxiliary systems
• Provide internal and external work reports according to Wartsila standards
• Collect and organise time and expense reports. Reporting and informing administrative personnel as required
• Supervise the tasks performed by Wartsila employees and subcontractors
• Perform pre-commissioning and start-ups of Wartsila engines
• Promote Wartsila products and services.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Marine or Electrical engineering with 3 – 5 years working experience in related field OR
• BSC degree or equivalent with 2-3 years relevant working
• Knowledge of applicable engine types and their auxiliaries
• Basic knowledge of electronics
• Basic knowledge and experience with PC’s and software
