You will support the Captain and Supervisor, ensuring smooth operations, timely order delivery, and addressing guest needs. Experienced floor service staff responsible for delivering consistent, professional, and attentive table service in accordance with the restaurant’s service standards. Support the Captain and Supervisor during daily operations by ensuring assigned tables are well managed, orders are taken accurately, and food and beverages are served in a timely and presentable manner. Monitor guest needs throughout the dining experience and provide warm, courteous service to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Handle tables independently with confidence, including managing multiple courses, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, and ensuring smooth service flow. Assist in basic guest recovery by addressing minor service issues or feedback politely and professionally, escalating more complex matters to the Captain or Supervisor when required.
Provide informal guidance and on-the-job support to junior service staff by demonstrating proper service etiquette, workflow organisation, and teamwork during service periods. Act as a positive role model on the floor without holding formal supervisory authority. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards in all service areas, comply with safety and operational procedures, and contribute to a respectful, cooperative, and service-focused work environment.
