Senior Security Officer

Job summary

Amara Singapore is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard guests and staff, enforce hotel security policies, and maintain a safe environment across the premises.

You will patrol the building during shifts, handle guest requests and complaints promptly, monitor entry points, check staff and visitors, and issue security passes kept on display. A SIRD licence and WSQ supervisory certificate (or equivalent), plus 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, are required.

Qualifications

• SIRD licence required.
• Security Supervisory WSQ certificate or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.

• Create security awareness among staff and guests.
• Attend to guests’ requests and complaints promptly.
• Check all staff, part-timers, contract workers, visitors and their possessions when they leave the hotel premises.
• Register all visitors, part-timers, contract workers and issue them with security passes which must be displayed at all times.
