OPUS IT SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst to lead complex investigations and mentor junior analysts in our Singapore office. The role focuses on incident response leadership, threat analysis, and strategic improvements across the security program.

The ideal candidate will drive playbook development, SOC process enhancements, and collaboration with DevSecOps to strengthen security architecture. Strong communication to executive stakeholders is essential.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in incident response or threat analysis.
• Expert-level proficiency with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage end-to-end incident response for high-severity and complex security incidents.
• Perform in-depth analysis of compromised systems, malicious artifacts, and attack infrastructure.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve incident response playbooks, detection rules, and SOC processes.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level analysts; conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and tabletop exercises.
• Partner with engineering and DevSecOps teams to improve security architecture and reduce attack surface.
• Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies; lead proof-of-concept assessments.
• Prepare executive-level briefings and detailed technical reports on incidents, threat landscape, and security posture.
• Represent the security team in cross-functional projects, audits, and regulatory reviews.
• Track threat intelligence trends and translate findings into actionable defensive measures.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst to lead complex security investigations, mentor junior analysts, and drive strategic improvements across our security program. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned professional who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to influence security direction at an organizational level.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end incident response for high-severity and complex security incidents


• Perform in-depth analysis of compromised systems, malicious artifacts, and attack infrastructure


• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve incident response playbooks, detection rules, and SOC processes


• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level analysts; conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and tabletop exercises


• Partner with engineering and DevSecOps teams to improve security architecture and reduce attack surface


• Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies; lead proof-of-concept assessments

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in incident response or threat analysis


• Expert-level proficiency with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms – Palo Alto Cortex, Splunk


• Deep knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, kill chain methodology, and adversary emulation


• Strong experience with digital forensics (memory, disk, network) and malware analysis (static and dynamic)


• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, KQL, or similar)


• Demonstrated experience leading incident response efforts in enterprise environments


• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, GCFE, GCIH, OSCP, or equivalent


• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container/Kubernetes environments


• Background in red team or purple team operations


• Prior experience building or maturing a SOC function
