Job summary

CrimsonLogic Pte Ltd is seeking a Level 2 Security Analyst to join a 24x7 Security Operations Center. You will monitor the environment for threats, triage, analyze, hunt threats, lead incident investigations and support remediation to mitigate security incidents.

You will perform daily SOC operations, incident lifecycle management, threat hunting with MITRE ATT&CK, and maintain SIEM/ security tools. Strong communication with regional SOC teams and providing guidance to junior analysts are

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in CyberSecurity or Computer Engineering.
• At least 2 years SOC analyst experience.
• Hands-on with SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, ELK).
• Experience in threat detection, incident lifecycle and MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and respond to security events in a timely manner.
• Manage Security Incidents and coordinate full incident lifecycle.
• Perform threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK techniques and searches for IOC.
• Follow up on cyber threat intelligence and coordinate with teams.
• Monitor and optimize SIEM and security tooling performance and accuracy.
• Investigate security breaches, gather evidence and document actions.

Role Purpose(s)

This individual will perform the role of level 2 security analyst in a 24x7 Security Operations Center responsible for monitoring the environment for potential security threats and incidents. This will include identification, triaging, analysis, threat-hunting, lead incident investigation and support of remediation recommendations to mitigate the security threats and incidents.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Support daily SOC operations, including alert triage, investigation, and escalation.
• Ensure timely response to critical incidents and manage the full incident lifecycle.
• Conduct regular threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK techniques and specialized searches for indicators of compromise.
• Follow up on Cyber Threat intelligence
• Monitor and optimize SIEM and other security tools for performance and accuracy.
• Investigate security breaches, gather evidence, analyze data, and document all actions taken.
• Track suspicious network, application, and user behavior to identify potential threats.
• Conduct investigations upon requests for data by customers and/or internal teams.
• Develop and maintain SOC playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with the identification, creation, and refinement of SOC processes and procedures.
• Coordinate with other cybersecurity teams for threat intelligence sharing and remediation.
• Prepare and present SOC performance reports and incident summaries to management.
• Provide mentorship and training to SOC analysts to enhance technical and analytical skills.
• Stay abreast of current threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging attack techniques that may impact the organization.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CyberSecurity or Computer Engineering

Working Experience Requirements

• At Least 2 years' SOC analyst experience
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (eg. Microsoft Sentinel, ELK)
