Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is looking for a fundamental analyst/strategist in Singapore to focus on rates and FX within Southeast Asian emerging markets. The ideal candidate will work closely with the PM to develop trade ideas and must have 10-12 years of experience in fixed income roles at in top tier hedge funds or banks.

You'll be responsible for relationship management, conducting research, and engaging with banks and brokers for information. The role mandates a strong background in technical analysis and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in a strategy or analyst role in fixed income.
• Ability to work throughout the trade-cycle.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and develop trade ideas in Southeast Asian markets.
• Develop and maintain sell-side relationships.
• Conduct ongoing fundamental research.

Skills

Fixed income strategy or analyst experience

Knowledge about Southeast Asian emerging markets

Technical skills in Excel and VBA

Programming skills in Python
