Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced SCADA/Automation Engineer to own and deliver SCADA/HMI solutions for large-scale facilities. You will work with engineering and site teams to ensure reliable operations and seamless commissioning.

The role requires at least 6 years in SCADA and automation, with strong AVEVA Wonderware System Platform or InTouch experience. Advantageous knowledge includes industrial cybersecurity and IIoT/cloud integration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 6 years hands-on experience in SCADA and industrial automation.
• Strong experience with AVEVA/Wonderware System Platform and/or InTouch.
• Good understanding of industrial communication protocols and control systems.
• Knowledge of SCADA/OT cybersecurity and IIoT/cloud integration an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver SCADA/HMI solutions for industrial facilities.
• Configure SCADA infrastructure including redundancy, historians, alarms, trending and reporting.
• Integrate SCADA with PLCs, RTUs, VFDs and field devices.
• Develop and troubleshoot industrial communications using Modbus, OPC, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and MelsecNet.
• Support PLC programming and integration on Schneider, Siemens and Mitsubishi platforms.
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and technical support.
• Prepare and maintain I/O lists, tag databases, wiring docs and procedures.
• Collaborate with project engineers, vendors and site technicians during implementation.
• Provide input during project development, tendering and solution design.
• Support reliability, cybersecurity and data integrity of SCADA/OT environments.

Salary: Up to $7,000
Location: Tuas
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

The Role

Join an engineering team responsible for delivering and supporting automation and control solutions for large-scale industrial facilities. You will take ownership of SCADA development, PLC integration, system commissioning and troubleshooting, working closely with engineering and plant teams to ensure reliable and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SCADA/HMI solutions using AVEVA Wonderware System Platform and InTouch.

• Configure SCADA infrastructure, including redundancy, historians, communication drivers, alarm management, trending and reporting functions.

• Integrate SCADA platforms with PLCs, RTUs, VFDs, sensors and other industrial field devices.

• Develop and troubleshoot industrial communications using protocols such as Modbus, OPC, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and MelsecNet.

• Support PLC programming and integration across Schneider, Siemens and Mitsubishi platforms.

• Conduct system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and technical support for automation systems.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including I/O lists, tag databases, wiring documentation and operating procedures.

• Work closely with project engineers, vendors, control engineers and site technicians throughout project implementation and commissioning.

• Provide technical input during project development, tendering and solution design.

• Support the reliability, cybersecurity and data integrity of SCADA/OT environments.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering or a related discipline.
