Job summary

Singapore Telecommunications Limited seeks a Satellite Operations Engineer (TT&C) to support telemetry, tracking and command operations for in-orbit satellites. You will execute flight operations and manoeuvre plans, perform health analysis, and act as the technical specialist for anomaly investigations and recoveries.

The role requires a 5+ year background in satellite/space systems, strong TT&C knowledge, and the ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a recognized engineering discipline (Satellite/Space related).
• At least five years of relevant engineering experience in satellite or space systems.
• Sound knowledge of satellite communications and TT&C operations.
• Proven leadership, initiative, and problem-solving in an operational environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to participate in a 24×7 on-call standby roster.

Responsibilities

• Support telemetry, tracking, command, and satellite command and control operations.
• Execute satellite flight operations and manoeuvre plans in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform satellite operations planning, monitoring, and health analysis.
• Serve as the technical specialist for critical satellite operations and anomaly investigation and recovery.
• Manage and provide technical guidance to Satellite Controllers supporting ST-2 satellite manoeuvre operations.
• Perform trend analysis of satellite subsystems to support mission performance and longevity.
• Participate in a 24×7 on-call standby roster to support operational requirements and anomaly response.
• Support quality management, business continuity, and operational audit activities.
• Maintain operational documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
