About you and this role

We are looking for a Sr. Sales Specialist with strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and communication skills. The position will be responsible for markets and accounts in Korea that are growing rapidly under disruptive technology changes. In this role you will support the growth of the Consumer Solution C&E which generates new opportunities through revitalizing assets to enable growth and addressable market expansion.

You will coordinate across all functions, including sales, Marketing, TS&D, R&D, communication, and product management, as well as with peers, key customers, distributors, and relevant teams in other regions.

To maximize asset utilization, you will be responsible for forecast accuracy by working with Customers/Distributors to enhance Dow’s capabilities to meet demand in a dynamic environment. Portfolio management involves growth opportunities for the short‑ to long‑term through CRM with aligning local and global strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Seek new opportunities at new customers/applications directly or through distributors.
  • Maintain and expand the account portfolio and Dow presence in the region.
  • Understand customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain share of market.
  • Search for new product development opportunities within the market.
  • Maintain customer relationships and expand network to different levels within a customer’s organization.
  • Execute sales and marketing plans, delivering volume and value.
  • Develop the sales plan aligned to the marketing plan in coordination with other functions.
  • Develop sales forecasts in coordination with Product Lines and Supply Chain.
  • Collect and utilize market intelligence to shape sales plans.
  • Conduct negotiations and implement price strategies aligned with business goals, considering legal implications, customs regulations, and Dow sales processes.
  • Collaborate with other functions and stakeholders to deliver CX results.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5–10 years of B2B sales/account management experience in the chemical industry; experience in the Electronics industry is a plus.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
