The Role

This is a unique opportunity for a driven and technical sales professional to lead the commercial strategy and capture market share for a portfolio of cutting-edge technology. You will be the key figure for the Southeast Asia region, responsible for the entire sales cycle, from identifying new opportunities to closing high-value deals.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales & Market Growth: Drive profitable growth developing and executing a robust sales strategy for the region. You will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing customers across the commercial, research, and naval markets.
  • Technical Tenders & Bids: Lead bid teams to compile compelling and technically sound commercial responses to complex tenders and proposals.
  • Channel & Partner Management: Develop, manage, and support a network of external sales channels (distributors and agents) to expand market reach and drive sales.
  • Market Engagement: Act as the face of the company in the region, representing its solutions at industry conferences, trade shows, and high-level customer meetings.
Requirements
  • A strong technical foundation, backed by a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical sales or business development role.
  • A strong technical understanding of subsea acoustic technology, scientific sonars, or ocean mapping applications.
  • Proven sales experience within the relevant commercial, research, or naval sectors in Southeast Asia.
  • A proactive, self-driven professional with excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel extensively throughout the region.
