Summary

Manage and lead the assigned Customer Group - Energy in Malaysia and Singapore by utilising Jotun's sales tools and techniques to plan, execute and monitor sales objectives and collection to achieve sales budgets, improve customer relationships, profitability, and increased market share.

This role can be based either in Singapore or Malaysia, reporting to General Sales Manager – Marine & Protective.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow Energy business, create new customers, and promote Jotun products by understanding the market, recognising business opportunities, and developing a good network in the market to increase market share.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and gathering market intelligence in order to achieve budget deliverables in terms of value, volume, and gross margins.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key customers by building excellent rapport across hierarchies and providing effective value propositions in order to increase market share. Build multi-level and multi-functional relationships at all key accounts.
  • Develop and strengthen customer relationships with fast response to sales and technical inquiries, and providing suitable coating specifications to secure sustainable market share and promote Jotun as a preferred supplier of high-quality paints and services.
  • Manage sales and profitability at a customer level by continually monitoring and reporting performance to ensure that annual sales, profitability, and cost targets are being achieved.
  • Ensure that projects and Key Accounts are managed and followed up to achieve customer expectations and sales targets.
  • Organise, develop, motivate, and lead sales teams by setting clear targets and framework, coaching, supporting, and following-up team members in line with The Penguin Spirit to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the whole team.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience in Energy related business.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written.
