Job Title: Senior Sales Executive (Semiconductors)

Our client is a subsidiary company of a Japan-based global company that trades in semiconductor parts/materials and electronic components.
They are currently looking for a Senior Sales Executive (Semiconductors) who would be in charge of active components and regional sales. This is an 80% Farming and 20% Hunting sales position targeting customers in Malaysia and the Philippines, or Southeast Asia.
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- Liaise with both suppliers and customers to ensure smooth communication, timely deliveries, and excellent service levels
- Service existing customers by maintaining strong relationships, addressing their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Expand the customer base by identifying new business opportunities and converting leads into long-term clients
- Forecast and set sales targets to align with corporate objectives and market trends
- Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue goals
- Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and negotiations

Requirements & Preferences
(Must)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electronics
- 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in active electronic components trading environment (such as ICs, semiconductors, power devices, microcontrollers, sensors)
- Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers
- Comfortable with frequent travel:
- a. Regional travel to Malaysia and the Philippines at least once a month (2–3 days per trip)
- b. Local travel within Singapore to visit suppliers
- Proven experience managing existing customers while actively developing new business
- Proactive, self-driven, and commercially minded, with the ability to work independently in a lean team environment
(Advantageous)
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics
- Possess driving license or own transport, but not necessary
