Senior Sales Execitive (Commodity Chemical, Plastic Resin)
Job Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Sales and Business Development Specialist, where you'll drive new business growth and maintain existing client relationships in the plastics industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain current business, with a 50/50 focus.
- Implement aggressive and spontaneous marketing actions to create new business.
- Efficiently handle daily tasks to maintain current customers.
- Attend to customer inquiries and provide sales services.
- Prepare quotations and liaise with customers on pricing matters.
- Follow up with customers on payment issues.
- Source suitable suppliers for trading material purchases.
- Evaluate supplier performance to ensure purchased products meet customer requirements.
- Check purchase orders from customers and suppliers for trade terms, payment terms, price, and lead time.
- Follow up with customers on any issues, including complaints.
- Take proactive actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Control trading material stock inventory.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales and business development experience in both commodity (PP, PS, PE) and engineering plastics (ABS, SAN, ASA, PC/ABS, POM, PBT, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of the plastic distribution business model, with good technical knowledge and connections in the plastic industry.
- Strong and aggressive personality with analytical skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a field-level team.
- Demonstrated expertise in multiple areas.
- Ability to coach juniors.
- Willingness to travel overseas.
