What You’ll Do
- Play a key role in the business growth as a Senior Sales Engineer.
- Understand customers’ business needs and match them with compelling Eutelsat service solutions.
- Use broad engineering knowledge and consultative techniques to provide the best solutions for distribution partners and customers.
- Support the commercial team in driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Provide in‑depth customer technical support, lead technical sales and demos, influence market requirements, and drive sales.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to communicate service needs and feedback.
Responsibilities
- Technical pre‑sales support for Eutelsat’s products to customers in the aviation sector.
- Engage key target customers early in the sales cycle, qualify prospects, and shape product and service offerings.
- Address customer questions on capability, performance, network integration, and competitive positioning.
- Act as the technical expert and customer solutions engineer for Eutelsat products, staying current and becoming a trusted consultant.
- Partner with the commercial team to communicate the capabilities of the global network and capture evolving market requirements.
- Provide technically robust, commercially persuasive responses to RFPs and RFIs.
- Define and oversee customer demonstrations, including trials of common use cases.
- Educate end‑users on key aspects of Eutelsat’s products and services.
What It Takes
- Proven experience giving robust technical advice to aviation customers.
- Strong knowledge of aviation use cases and airline requirements, especially solution delivery.
- Understanding of communications networks and aviation adoption considerations.
- Strong OEM knowledge and line‑fit process expertise.
- Experience with retrofit (STC/SB) processes.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical material to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and proven influence on customer interactions.
- Creative thinker, solution‑focused mindset.
What We’d Love
- BSc/BEng in a relevant technical degree (Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Sciences) or equivalent.
- 12‑20 years of experience in a relevant Sales Engineering position.
- Knowledge of satellite communication and IP networking; prior satellite industry experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally with cultural awareness and ability to build regional market knowledge.
