Job summary

BEIJING GAS SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an experienced risk manager to build and enhance a comprehensive risk framework across all business processes. You will identify, assess, and monitor market, credit, and other risks, and prepare reports and risk alerts for management.

The role requires 5–10 years in risk management, strong Mandarin communication, and collaboration with multiple departments and HQ in China.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field.
5-10 years of experience in risk management, trading risk, or commodity/LNG markets preferred.
Strong understanding of market risk, credit risk, and derivatives.
Proficiency in risk systems and Excel-based analysis.
Experience in Chinese corporations is an advantage.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Establish and continuously improve the company's risk management framework with policies and controls.
Identify, assess, and monitor risk types; prepare risk reports and alerts.
Participate in risk control reviews and assess counterparties and major transactions.
Monitor execution, conduct risk inspections, and analyze abnormal data.
Lead handling of risk incidents, actions, and post-incident review.
Collaborate across departments to integrate risk controls.
Report to management on overall risk exposure and recommendations.
Monitor regulatory changes and update risk strategies.
Review input records and verify valuations in risk system.
Assist finance in derivative-related funding and settlement.
