Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is looking for a qualified Respiratory Therapist. The incumbent will provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients with cardio-respiratory conditions, working closely with physicians. Candidates should hold a degree in Respiratory Therapy, possess ACLS and BCLS certifications, and have at least one year of experience in a critical care setting. Job description

The incumbent shall be responsible to :

  • Provide respiratory care services to patients with cardio‑respiratory diseases and disorders by assessing patient’s respiratory status, recommending, implementing and evaluating appropriate therapy
  • Plans, evaluates and implements diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services to aid and assist the physician in the diagnosis and management of patients
  • Responsible for the inventory, care and maintenance of respiratory related equipment and assists with the general functions involving the Respiratory Therapy Department
Job Requirements:
  • Degree from a recognised school of Respiratory Therapy, preferably with Registration for Respiratory Therapists (Certification Exam)
  • Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is preferred
  • At least 1 year of adult multi-disciplinary critical care experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare workers and demonstrate a willingness to take on challenges, innovative and well‑motivated to apply and share knowledge and skills
  • Ability to work independently and be part of a team that is committed to providing quality, cost-effective and specialised care to our patients
