Job summary

The National University of Singapore's Cancer Science Institute seeks a Senior Research Scientist to lead a project on RNA therapeutics and endolysosome escape, using image-based arrayed CRISPR screens and proteomics.

Qualifications

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• At least 2 first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Strong expertise in modern molecular biology techniques (CRISPR, sequencing, proteomics).
• Ability to work independently and in a team; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and perform experiments to study how RNA therapeutics escape endolysosomes.
• Lead genome-wide CRISPR screening, proteomics, and high-resolution imaging.
• Mentor junior researchers; contribute to manuscripts and grant applications.
