Overview

The Lien Centre for Palliative Care (LCPC) in Duke-NUS Medical School is a leading research and educational centre in palliative care, supported by the Lien Foundation and partners such as the National Cancer Centre Singapore.

We are seeking a full‑time Research Fellow with expertise in palliative care to engage in projects aimed at improving the quality of life and care experiences for individuals with serious illnesses and their caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate research studies in palliative and end‑of‑life care.
• Conduct data analysis (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods) and prepare manuscripts for peer‑reviewed publications.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of palliative care interventions for patients and caregivers.
• Support research grant development.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Requirements

• PhD in Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or a related health or behavioural science discipline.
• At least 3–6 years of postdoctoral research experience.
• Track record of peer‑reviewed publications.
• Proficiency in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
