Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Research Fellow to play a key role in a growing health services research division within a healthcare institution. The successful candidate will lead the development of research ideas, collaborate with clinical professionals, apply for research funding, and mentor junior researchers. A strong background in quantitative analysis and statistics is highly desirable. This role also includes administrative duties related to both research and general operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support health services and operational research projects.
• Write and review academic manuscripts, present research findings, and engage in collaborative research efforts.
• Contribute to project coordination and provide guidance to healthcare staff involved in research.

Additional Duties

• Build and manage a personal portfolio of research projects.
• Assist with administrative aspects of research grants, such as variation/extension requests, claims, and reporting.
• Take on other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• A PhD and/or degree in Nursing, Medicine, or a related discipline.
• 4–5 years of experience in clinical or health services research is a plus.
• Strong foundation in health services research, applied statistics, study design, and outcome evaluation.
• Experience in developing data-driven solutions for healthcare improvement; familiarity with AI techniques (e.g., machine learning, predictive modeling) is advantageous.
• Proven ability to independently lead and deliver research projects across various health domains, from design through analysis and implementation.
• Proficiency in Python or R, with practical experience using these tools in healthcare-related analytics.
