A leading research organization in Singapore is seeking a skilled CNC Engineer to optimize CNC machining processes and develop automation scripts. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, at least 5 years of experience, and strong skills in CNC machining and CAM programming, preferably with NX CAM. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for this hands-on role.
The Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC) is an industry-led Centre by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Based on a contemporary business model of public-private partnership, the Centre transforms remanufacturing and manufacturing research into industry ready solutions for cross-sectoral industry members by bringing together best-in-class global companies and R&D minds in Singapore.
Currently, the ARTC works with over 80 industry members to develop advanced remanufacturing and manufacturing capabilities. The members are comprised of global MNCs, leading equipment and software providers as well as SMEs.
We are seeking an innovative and technically skilled engineer to join our team, specializing in adaptive machining. This is a key technology for generative and regenerative applications at the heart of ARTC’s remanufacturing and manufacturing research. We are looking for people with the passion and drive to join us as part of the Remanufacturing Process Technology (RPT) Group.
The Remanufacturing Process Technology Group also consists of research teams in Laser Directed Energy Deposition, Electron Beam and Arc Joining, Adaptive machining and Intelligent Process Remanufacturing for which individuals may also explore.
We are seeking a hands-on CNC Engineer with expertise in CNC machining and CAM programming. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing toolpaths, setting up machines, and optimizing processes on the shop floor. While not essential, additional skills in CAD (preferably NX) and programming in Python, VB, or C# are considered valuable assets to support workflow improvements and automation.
