Job Summary

We are seeking a Research or Senior Research Engineer to design and develop next-generation AI-powered manufacturing systems for one of our esteemed clients, focusing on adaptive, agent-based, and human-centric architectures that support automation and decision-making. The ideal candidate will bridge software architecture, applied AI, and systems design to create a robust foundation for intelligent, data-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable system frameworks integrating AI reasoning, automation, and user collaboration
• Lead the development of agent-based frameworks for autonomous planning and coordination
• Implement intelligent assistants and copilot features to improve operator and engineer experience
• Develop knowledge-driven architectures linking data, models, and insights
• Collaborate with AI and data teams to ensure smooth deployment and continuous learning
• Define reference architectures, data flows, and integration blueprints for connected systems
• Translate AI research into deployable, maintainable components and evaluate emerging technologies for adaptive, multi-agent systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in software or system architecture, including AI/ML or industrial systems
• Strong backend development skills in C#, Python, or Node.js, with expertise in microservices design
• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Familiarity with DevOps/MLOps and distributed systems such as message queues and IoT pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and technical communication skills.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of AI systems, reinforcement learning, or knowledge graphs.
• Understanding of industrial IoT, automation, or manufacturing processes.
