Job summary

The A*STAR Institute for Human Development and Potential (IHDP) invites applications for a Research Officer/Senior Research Officer to support a large pragmatic trial on healthy lifestyle behaviours and weight loss maintenance in adolescents and young adults across Singapore.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate day‑to‑day research activities, recruit participants, collect data, and contribute to reporting and dissemination of findings under the guidance of the Principal

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology / Life Sciences / Nutrition or a health‑related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in research or related field.
• Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day research activities: literature searches, materials prep, documentation, coordination.
• Coordinate participant recruitment, scheduling and follow‑up across study sites.
• Organise site visits and data collection in community/institutional settings.
• Conduct study procedures including anthropometric measurements and surveys.
• Travel across Singapore for fieldwork (reimbursed).
• Maintain accurate study records per governance and data management protocols.
• Support data entry, cleaning and basic visualization/analysis.
• Contribute to progress reports, presentations and manuscripts.
• Collaborate with PI, project managers and team for timely delivery.
