Summary

The Senior Regional Sales Manager will develop and execute sales strategies, manage key accounts, and build strong relationships with customers and partners within the biometric identity solution market.

As our Senior Regional Sales Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities in the Southeast Asian market related to biometric software.
  • Promote BIO’s biometric solutions by engaging with system integrators.
  • Collaborate with system integrators to gather and analyze customer requirements prior to tender release.
  • Develop preliminary budgets and planning estimates for upcoming RFPs.
  • Organize and manage proof‑of‑concept initiatives, product demonstrations, and customer testing.
  • Prepare responses to expressions of interest, requests for information, and other tender‑related documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Presales, PMO, Business Development, Product & Marketing Managers, and Legal.
  • Formulate and execute short‑ and long‑term sales strategies aligned with regional objectives.
Your Experience and Background include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in eKYC, AFIS/ABIS solutions highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of experience in government, banking, or related sectors focused on business development.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development within software or solution‑based environments.
  • Prior experience in biometric technology sales essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills with a results‑driven mindset.
  • Strategic thinker with strong research and analytical capabilities.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to changing schedules.
Language Skills
  • Proficient in written and verbal English.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals and specifications.
  • Additional local language used in Sales East Asia is a great advantage.
Computer Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Familiar with Windows operating system.
Customer Expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively while maintaining strong relationships with partners and clients.
Work Requirements
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable HID Global policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
