Job summary

Changi General Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Radiographer to perform general and specialised radiographic examinations, supervise student radiographers, lead quality improvement projects, and coordinate with clinicians on radiographic-related issues, with a focus on radiation protection and efficient technology use.

Opportunities to specialise in CT, MRI, Ultrasound or Mammography in inpatient and outpatient settings exist, or assist in procedures such as coronary angiography and PTCA.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Diagnostic Radiography.
• AHPC registration or eligibility.
• 2–3 years in Interventional Radiography (IR) or RISPACS management is advantageous for cardiac radiography.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Supervisory experience may be considered for senior positions.
• 3 years in Nuclear Medicine may lead to team lead role.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and specialised radiographic examinations with clinical responsibility and radiation protection.
• Supervise student radiographers and lead Quality Improvement projects.
• Coordinate with staff and clinicians on radiographic-related issues and maintain imaging quality controls.
• Maintain imaging equipment and accessories; contribute to safety and effective use of technology.
• Possible specialisation in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, or Mammography in inpatient/outpatient settings; assist in procedures such as coronary angiography and PTCA.
