Job description
Key accountabilities
  • Provide imaging services to patients according to set protocols and standards.
  • Supervisory and mentorship to radiographers / sonographers.
  • Deputises the Senior Principal Radiographer, where applicable.
  • Responsible for quality control programs and ensure consistent maintenance of equipment and accessories.
  • Assist in the training and continuing education of staff.
  • Provides imaging services to patients as requested by referring physicians or as allowed by statutory regulations and according to acceptable and standards.
  • Perform all duties of radiographer.
  • Coordinates with staff from other sections to ensure continuity of good patient service care.
  • To ensure compliance of radiology safety policy.
  • Work closely with Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) administrator to ensure studies are sent and stored in the PACS correctly without errors.
  • Other assignments as and when required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma / Degree in Radiography / Medical technology or equivalent.
  • Up to date knowledge in Radiology field.
  • Registered under the Allied Health Professions Council.
  • At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
