Job summary

quobly.io seeks a Senior Quantum Engineer based in Singapore to lead the implementation, development and optimization of spin qubit measurements. You will work with software and electronics teams to refine experimental setups and define long-term scientific challenges.

You will supervise PhD students, help develop new quantum functionalities on processors, and define the scientific roadmap to scale the number of qubits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantum engineering.
• Experience with spin qubit manipulation, coherent control and calibration.
• Willingness to supervise PhD students.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, development and optimization of spin qubit measurements.
• Collaborate with software and electronics teams to optimize experimental set-ups.
• Define long-term scientific challenges and supervise PhD students.
• Develop new quantum functionalities on processors with integration and characterization teams.
• Contribute to the scientific roadmap for scaling the number of qubits.
• Interact with the Technology Director to shape the company’s technical strategy.
• Collaborate across all technical teams and with industrial collaborators.
• Present at international conferences to share results.
• Support a culture of transparency and autonomy within the team.
• Contribute to a hands-on, rigorous experimental program.
