Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage pre- and post-contract activities for large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, strong knowledge in contract administration, cost management, and procurement. Proficiency in MS Excel and measurement software is essential, along with a relevant degree or diploma.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably in commercial building or institutional projects.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, procurement, and cost management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full spectrum of quantity surveying and contract administration duties from pre- to post-contract stages.
  • Prepare cost estimates, tender documentation, and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
  • Evaluate tender submissions and assist in tender clarifications and contract award recommendations.
  • Administer progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
  • Provide cost control and monitoring throughout project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Review contract terms and identify potential risks, variations, and claims.
  • Support project team in procurement and subcontract management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
