Roles & Responsibilities
  • Monitor tendering platforms (such as Gebiz, SRM, Sesami) for targeted tenders and/ or new opportunities (for infrastructure projects).
  • Process tender documents, highlight specifications require for tender submission, and request information from other departments (eg, Safety/ Accounts/ Finance/ Project) to do reports.
  • Attend tender briefing or site show round.
  • Source for equipment quotations and subcontractors.
  • Perform take-off quantities.
  • Review supplier's quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications and tender requirements.
  • Review subcontractor's quotations to ensure the scope for works is fully covered.
  • Compile quotations and create a summary table/ spreadsheet.
  • Present costing reports to the management.
  • Perform technical write-up and prepare preliminary construction programs.
  • Take lead for any tender clarification questions.
  • Respond to Client's Tender Validity Extension request.
  • Prepare tender interview, presentation slides, quotations, and letters.
  • Meet up/ call suppliers/sub-cons/ main contractors to discuss/ negotiate scopes/ prices and assist to prepare agreements where applicable
