Job summary

A leading corporate advisory firm in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will prepare project budgets, manage cost estimates, evaluate contractor proposals, and oversee both pre- and post-contract QS duties. Applicants should have at least 3 years of relevant experience with main contractors, be proficient in Excel, and familiar with contract forms. A strong ability to manage project costs and maintain compliance with authority requirements is essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
  • Familiar with SIA / PSSCOC contract forms.
  • Proficient in Excel and relevant project/document control tools.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare project budgets, cost estimates and financial reports.
  • Review drawings to produce accurate quantities, BOQ and tender documents.
  • Evaluate subcontractor proposals and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Manage pre- and post-contract QS duties including tender evaluation, monthly claims, VO/EOT, and final account.
  • Verify site progress and measurements for payment certification.
  • Review and validate subcontractor variation submissions.
  • Track project costs, cashflow and budget performance.
  • Coordinate with PM, consultants and site teams on commercial issues.
  • Support procurement and vendor selection.
  • Maintain proper records and ensure compliance with authority requirements.
Requirements
  • 3 years’ experience as a QS with a main contractor.
  • Familiar with SIA / PSSCOC contract forms.
