Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage cost-related matters from estimates to final accounts. Responsibilities include preparing contracts and providing financial advice. Candidates should have a minimum diploma in Quantity Surveying and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is essential. This is a permanent position with a 5-day work week.

• Working Location: Jurong West
• Working Hours: 5 Days, Monday – Friday (8am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cost-related matters for construction projects, from initial cost estimates to final settlement of accounts.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, cost variations, and related claims.
• Provide ongoing cost control support and financial advice throughout all stages of the project.
• Coordinate and communicate with project managers, site teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Ensure work complies with contract terms, company procedures, and relevant industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction projects, preferably dealing with LTA projects.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, including measurement and valuation.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant quantity surveying software.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software for basic drafting and design-related tasks.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
