Job summary

R Y CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage the full QS cycle on projects in Singapore. You will handle cost control, BOQ preparation, tender submissions, and contract administration, ensuring accurate budgeting and strong cash flow management.

You will also perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost estimates, evaluate subcontractor claims, and negotiate variations to safeguard project budgets, while coordinating with project teams to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of related work experience in Singapore.
• Entry level specialized in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent.
• Proactive and a team player.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full QS cycle for projects, including cost control, BOQ preparation, tender submissions, and contract administration.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis to support accurate budgeting and financial control.
• Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions, and manage subcontractor agreements and contractual matters.
• Evaluate subcontractor progress claims and process monthly payments to maintain cash flow control.
• Assess and negotiate Variation Orders to achieve cost savings and prevent budget overruns.
• Prepare project cost reports and cash flow forecasts for management review.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, and Suppliers to monitor costs and ensure project objectives are achieved.
