Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual with extensive experience in procurement and contracts management. The candidate should hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering, and have at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in civil or land reclamation projects. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office. Responsibilities include managing sourcing, overseeing procurement documentation, and resolving contractual issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience preferably in civil/land reclamation projects.
• Familiar with Singapore Standard Forms of Contract.
• Able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing and evaluation of quotations for materials and services.
• Oversee the preparation of procurement documentation, subcontractor/supplier agreements, and payment recommendations.
• Review and validate cost estimates, price comparison and detailed costing summary.
• Manage project cost, prepare estimation, and carry out quantity measurements.
• Prepare forecasting of cashflow, manage claims, budget & cost control.
• Administer and prepare progress claims and variation orders.
• Settle final accounts and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date records for all project-related correspondence.
• Lead contracts administration and support contract-related processes.
• Advise on and resolve contractual issues including extension of time, terms and condition, loss and expenses claim.

Skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

Education

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent
