Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support maintenance and project works for the Authority in Singapore. You will verify costs, prepare estimates, review contractor invoices, and manage budgets and payments across multiple projects.

You will also assemble tender documents, evaluate bids, ensure compliance with contract terms, and monitor warranties, performance bonds, and insurances to safeguard project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Verify maintenance and project work for the Authority.
• Prepare cost estimates, check and approve contractor costs; KPI deductions may apply.
• Approve costs within shorter times for urgent cases as required.
• Prepare and report financial projections and manage budget and expenses for contracts.
• Prepare and recommend monthly or progress payment claims and final accounts with supporting documents.
• Evaluate and carry out joint measurement with Contractors on their claims and endorse correctness.
• Assess and recommend contractor claims to ensure compliance with contract provisions and rates.
• Administer term contract works, advise on rate quotations, and finalize PO/WO amounts.
• Check, verify and confirm Contractors' invoices against PO/WO/Endorsed Quotation.
• Compile payment claims, interim certificates, POs/WO, and invoices; review tenders and contract docs.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate and award tenders for aggregated specialist contracts.
• Prepare and evaluate final payment for work by term Contractors.
• Obtain and monitor Performance Bonds, Bank Guarantees and insurances.
• Draft and prepare contract forms for PA properties facilities to call tenders.
• Prepare quotation/tender documents including mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural works.
