Job summary

A leading construction consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to oversee tender activities and manage project budgets. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in commercial construction. Responsibilities include contract preparation, sourcing of materials, and site survey management. A salary range of $4000 - $6000 is offered.

Location: Walking distance from Bendemeer/Lavender mrt
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9am to 6pm
Salary: $4000 - $6000

Responsibilities
  • Manage pre and post tender activities including quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
  • Prepare and review contracts, variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts.
  • Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, implementing cost-saving and value engineering measures.
  • Conduct site surveys and participate in measurements and valuations with clients and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with sales, design and project teams on all contractual and M&E matters.
  • Analyze tender returns for cost competitiveness and contractual compliance.
  • Support project teams with technical proposals, progress tracking, and resolution of contractual issues.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Min 3 years of relevant experience in commercial construction projects.
  • Proficient in tools for quantity take-off and technical drawings.
  • Familiar with contract administration, project budgeting, and cost control practices.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
