Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in the energy sector is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects in Singapore and overseas. The ideal candidate must have a degree in QS or civil engineering and at least 10 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in Infrastructure or LNG projects. Responsibilities include managing contract compliance, preparing cost estimations, and leading tender processes. This position is based in Singapore’s western region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Infrastructure, LNG, Oil Storage Terminal or Gas Pipeline projects is an advantage.
• Familiar with FIDIC (EPC) and PSSCOC (D&B).

Connect Energy is partnering with one of the renowned consultancy firm in the energy sector to look for this position to work on their upcoming projects in Singapore and overseas.

Responsibilities

• To manage and provide advise on projects from pre-award to award and monitor on contractual issues during execution
• To work closely with the Project Manager to administer on the contract terms and conditions
• Assist the project team to review contractors documentation and establish gap analysis documents (technical & commercial)to highlight discrepancies / shortfalls between contractor documentation and clients' requirements
• Review and monitor project correspondences received and advises any problem together with identification of any changes / addition / deletions to the contract.
• Lead in tender preparation / management until award
• Prepare costs estimation, evaluation of variation and valuation of progress claims

Requirements

• Min. 10 years experience in similar role
• Degree in QS or civil engineering
• Experience in Infrastructure / LNG / Oil Storage Terminal / Gas Pipeline projects an advantage
• In depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
• Familiar with construction / project management
• Familiar with quality and health and safety standards
• Fluent in English both written and verbal
• Familiar with FIDIC (EPC) and PSSCOC (D&B)
• Willing to work at western part of Singapore
