Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage and prepare measurements and cost estimates for construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying, along with 3-5 years of experience in the field. Responsibilities include preparing contract documents, evaluating progress payments, and ensuring project objectives are met. Relocation to the Bayfront site office is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in large-scale projects preferred.
• Familiar with various standard forms of contract.

Job description

Job Descriptions

• Manage and prepare the measurements and cost estimates for the construction projects from initial calculations to the final accounts.
• Prepare contract documents in accordance to the regulations.
• Evaluate and prepare progress payments to subcontractors / suppliers / service providers.
• Prepare cost analysis and monitor project overruns to ensure the objectives of the project is achieved.
• Access payment and variation works to subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
• Communicate with the management, sub-contractors and keeps track of the progression of the sub-contract.
• Any other adhoc tasks assigned by superior.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in large-scale projects will be advantageous.
• Experience in architectural or structural work will be a bonus.
• Proficient in PDF measurement or any other measurement software.
• Familiar with various standard forms of contract (e.g., SIA, PSSCOC, FIDIC).
• Location: West side first. Relocating to the Bayfront site office.
