Job summary

Eastspring Investments seeks an analytics professional to join our team, blending fundamental investment approach with quantitative rigour. You will grow to translate analytic output into actionable advice for the Global CIO and investment heads, covering equities and fixed income and overseeing platform-wide data and tools for better decision-making.

You will help design production-grade analytics, prototype new approaches, and deliver production-ready code with emphasis on reproducibility,

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of analytics or technology experience in supporting equities or fixed income teams.
• Proficient in SQL, R/Python and front-end frameworks such as Shiny, Dash, Quarto.
• Familiar with alpha generation for equities and/or fixed income.
• Knowledge of engineering practices – version control, CI/CD, unit testing, API integration.
• Differentiating skills: Azure ecosystem, Databricks, front-end development.

Responsibilities

• Analytics Platform: design, develop, and deploy investment analytics in a structured dev environment.
• Quantitative Frameworks: prototype and productionise descriptive and predictive analytics for decision-making.
• Investment Discipline: derive insights and engage investment teams to challenge portfolio construction.
• CIO Support: provide on-demand MI support for priority initiatives.
