Job summary

GIC Private Limited in Singapore seeks a seasoned Quant Researcher for ARU to advance execution research in equities and listed asset classes. You will work with traders and developers to design models and deliver data-driven insights that improve execution outcomes.

The role requires 8–10 years in a quantitative role, strong coding, and a track record of producing actionable research. You will contribute to a global program while collaborating across markets and portfolios.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional experience in a quantitative role (analyst, researcher, trader, data scientist).
• Proven track record of models, analysis, reports, and tools based on quantitative methods.
• Strong interest in global equity market microstructure and data-driven insights.
• Experience with electronic and algorithmic execution, TCA and cost models.
• Excellent coding skills in Python, R, SQL and kdb/Q.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic vision and research pipeline for execution research across equities and listed asset classes.
• Deliver quantitative and systematic solutions to influence execution outcomes.
• Collaborate with traders and developers; mentor junior colleagues.
• Link themes across asset classes to provide liquidity and microstructure insights.
• Manage projects from idea to production with a dedicated development team.
