Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position. The role involves participating in HQ tenders or site projects, managing all Quantity Surveyor duties, liaising with consultants, and preparing subcontract documents. Applicants should have a Diploma or Degree in construction management or Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 3 years of experience in building construction projects. Offers competitive salary up to $7,000 with variable bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in building construction projects is preferred.
• Diploma/ Degree in construction management/ Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to Contract manager and involving in either HQ tenders or site projects.
• Responsible for all work related to building Quantity Surveyor duties.
• Liaise with consultants and subcontractors on the progress claim.
• Prepare subcontract documents and purchasing agreements.
• Preparing cost estimation and identifying variation works.
• To source quotations from sub-contractors and prepare cost comparisons, negotiate, and award contracts.
• Variation order or EOT claims.
• Liaise with the project site, subcontractors, and contractual issues.

Job description

• Up to $7,000 Basic+ Variable bonus
• Permanent position/ 5 work days
• 2 openings - Participate in New Hospital project @ east area or participate in HQ tendering on building projects @ east area
• Having QS experience in hospital or building projects preferred.
