SENIOR QS (Building Projects) x 2 (1 for Projects / 1 for Tendering)

Role Overview

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of building projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining quality standards and compliance with local regulations. This role involves cost planning, tendering, contract administration, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Management & Estimation

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for building projects.
  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

Tendering & Procurement

  • Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and specifications.
  • Evaluate tenders and negotiate with contractors and suppliers to achieve competitive pricing.

Contract Administration

  • Manage contractual obligations, variations, and claims in accordance with Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority (BCA) guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and statutory requirements.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts.
  • Advise on cost implications of design changes and project risks.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in quantity surveying for building projects, preferably in Singapore.
