KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Manage and uphold QHSE standards, including ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, across regional operations.
- Oversee quality, health, safety, environmental initiatives, and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.
- Lead workplace safety programs, fire prevention measures, and emergency preparedness.
- Support building, facilities, and equipment maintenance to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Conduct internal audits, manage non-conformances, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and external partners on QHSE matters.
- Promote environmental responsibility and ensure alignment with local environmental regulations.
- Foster a strong safety culture and provide training, guidance, and oversight to internal teams.
- Ensure the station’s compliance with all applicable company global processes, standards, and procedures.
- Lead and coordinate incident investigations, ensuring timely reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- All other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 8 years of experience in QHSE roles, with 3+ years in a supervisory or regional leadership position.
- Deep understanding of ISO standards and local regulatory compliance.
- Possess relevant QHSE-related certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO, LeadAuditor, WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (or equivalent)
- Strong audit and incident investigation experience.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in Singapore (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), with frequent travel to Malaysia.
