Job summary

A leading Food Quality Management company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to manage the Food Quality and Safety Management System. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, maintaining compliance with ISO standards, and preparing for audits. Candidates should hold a diploma in Food Science and possess at least 3 years of QA experience in the food industry. Certifications in ISO 9001 are essential, while ISO 22000 or HACCP certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Food Science or a related professional Engineering certificate.
• At least 3 years of QA experience in Food & Beverage or Food Packaging industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 management systems.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification is a must.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To manage, maintain and implement Food Quality and Safety Management System.
• To enforce Food Quality and Safety Policy, MSC COC Policy and Procedures in the company premise.
• To conduct daily/weekly routine validation inspection to ensure compliance (CCP, RPR, OPRP, GMP, GHP, MSC) and identify problematic areas for improvement.
• To investigate and report on any nonconformance observed in the work place and customer returns.
• To assist in preparation of the organization for customer audit, regulatory audits and external accreditation reviews.
• Participate in the Internal audit and Design & Development program.
• Perform monthly lab test, data analysis and QA reports.
• Liaise with authorities and 3rd party, manage license renewal.
• Record and file all works, ad-hoc projects and report writing.
• To perform other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by superior.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Food Science or Quality or related professional Engineering certificate on related skill.
• At least 3 years of QA working experience in the Food & Beverage or Food Packaging Manufacturing industry is required for this position.
• Strong Knowledge in ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 management system
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certified is a must
• ISO or FSIS 22000 / HACCP Internal Auditor certified is an advantage
• Strong in Brain Storming and Analytical Knowledge
• Able to make decision and reporting
